Welcome to Alaere Lifestyle! “Alaere” means queen in Ijaw, an Afro-indigenous language native to the Niger Delta.
We are a spiritually infused online art gallery, boutique, and publishing company founded by Nigerian-American artist and author Odemi Pessu.
Alaere Lifestyle sells luxury contemporary abstract and modern art celebrating Afro-indigenous womanhood and humanity’s connection to God and Mother Earth. We also publish poetic, spiritual, and educational literature to inspire a celebration of divine feminine power, holistic wellness, and cultural leadership. In Spring 2025, we are launching a sustainable, art-infused line of elegant apparel fit for the modern queen.
